Why this one does not upload your file

Almost every free sign a pdf tool works by sending your document to a server, doing the work there, and sending a result back. That is a cost decision rather than a privacy one — server time costs money, which is why those tools meter you, ask for an account, or cap your file size.

This one runs the same work in your browser using JavaScript, so your file never travels anywhere. There is no upload step, no queue, no account, and no page limit — and the page keeps working if you disconnect from the internet partway through.

Straight answers

Is this a real digital signature?

No, and we do not claim it is. This places a visual signature — ink on the page, exactly like signing a printout — not a cryptographic signature that a verifier checks against a certificate. That is what most signed documents actually need; if you specifically need a certificate-backed signature, this is not that tool.

Can I sign every page at once?

Yes. Choose "All pages" and the same signature is placed at the same position on each one — useful for initialing every page of a contract rather than signing once at the end.

Where does my signature go while I am using this?

Nowhere but your own browser tab. It is drawn on a canvas, placed into the PDF locally, and released when you close the tab. If you save it to a profile, that save also stays on this device — see Profiles in the full editor.

Can I choose the colour and the pen?

Yes — a small set of ink colours and pen styles, from a fine liner to a marker, and the "fountain" style responds to real pressure if you are using a stylus that reports it.
